Kinsley and I were watching the FoodNetwork this morning and she says to me....."Yum, that looks good! We can't eat it in the TV....and that makes me mad!"
I cracked up and said - I agree!!!

Joe's Graduation
I was 13 years old when Joseph was born...so seeing him graduate is crazy to me. He is so grown now and such a sweet boy. We definitely owe this to my wonderful parents. As I watched him go across stage, I can't wait to see what life has in store for him. He is going to do wonderful things and I can't wait to see it. At the same time, I want him to be little again and I know mom does too.
We had a huge party after graduation and it was nice to see everyone. Joe got tons of cards and mom made him a scrapbook as she does every school year. It is hard to say goodbye to Notre Dame - but now on to college....

Joe's Baccalaureate
We had Joe's Baccalaureate at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church - it is amazingly beautiful. Kinsley is always good in church, but I knew this would be packed - so I got a new sticker book for the occasion - so mom and dad could watch and listen...We had to see up in the balcony right beside the band and singers - and we could see everything and with 40 foot ceilings - Kinsley said - I can't do these stickers right now and just sat there and looked all around - it was amazing.
Mom cried a lot - For Joe who was graduating and for Rachie who is so sick. We had to get someone to sit with her so we could go. She did great with Becky and Jenn and seemed to be feeling better than she has in a long time - so that was good news for us all.
Joe was so proud - we took tons of pictures afterwards with his friends and Joe went out with Luke and his family along with Houston afterwards. We all went home and finished working on the party stuff for tomorrow.
It's going to be a fun day!
These three boys are always at the house playing games...it's almost like I have three brothers instead of 1...Kinsley adores them both and calls Houston (Middle) ----- WHOuston...her boyfriend!!!

Field Day 2009 and Looping
What a day. Kinsley came to field day with me. She had an amazing time. She did all the events with the kids and had the best time. The kids love her and cheer her on. I just love them. They are so protective over her and really enjoy her.
I hurt my leg doing Tug of War...it has been bad all weekend, but I have iced and elevated when I could. This was a busy weekend. It is doing a better.
On a side note, I found out this week I am going to 2nd grade. This means I will be looping with my kids - taking all my kids I have this year in 1st grade and teaching them in 2nd. I am so excited. Dianna and I will be doing this together - so it makes it a bit better. I can't wait to tell my kids on Monday - they are going to be so excited. We are going to have a blast!

Notre Dame Prom - Joe
It's hard to believe that Joe is old enough to go to prom, much less graduating. We took prom pictures at Heritage Park in East Brainerd with Joe's best friend Houston and their dates. Ashley and Christen (which was Joe's Date).
They all seemed to have a good time and I had a fun time taking pictures.
